Professional Development Opportunities

WBEA is committed to providing professional development opportunities to its members. Programs such as the Professional Development Leadership Training (PDLT) and President-elect workshop are offered each year in conjunction with the regional conference. The Educational Opportunity Scholarship program offers financial support for business educators who are pursuing an advanced degree.

In addition to the opportunities provided through WBEA, members are also encouraged to pursue opportunities offered through NBEA. More information can be found in the Professional Opportunities section on the NBEA website. Continued Professional Development opportunities are very evident in our conferences. Each S/T/P holds a yearly conference and WBEA and NBEA conference attendance opportunities are available.

The workshop is sponsored by WBEA and your state association. This year's PDLT workshop encompasses the Presidents-elect workshop, Membership Directors workshop, and leadership training. We are encouraging all Presidents-elect, Membership Directors, and those interested in leadership training to sign up for this workshop.
