Legislative Action

WBEA wants you to be an active participant in enhancing and protecting your profession! If you need to access the latest legislative information go to acteonline.org where you can also find contact information on your state legislators. Here's how: On the home page click on the "Policy & Advocacy" link, it will take you to a page that will ask you for your zip code. Insert it and a page will come up with your areas legislator information; email, mailing address, phone numbers, etc. Also, on the sidebar you can see the latest Key Issues, Legislative Updates, an Action Center, and more.

Professional Development Opportunities

WBEA is committed to providing professional development opportunities to its members. Programs such as the Professional Development Leadership Training (PDLT) and President-elect workshop are offered each year in conjunction with the regional conference. The Educational Opportunity Scholarship program offers financial support for business educators who are pursuing an advanced degree.
