President's Message
Dear Western Business Education Association Community, I am honored to serve as your WBEA President for the 2025-2026 term. After completing the 2025 WBEA Conference in Billings, Montana, I am eager to kick off this year’s initiatives. If you were unable to attend this year’s conference, you missed out on excellent opportunities to learn and connect with fellow educators. Be sure not to miss next year’s conference in Tucson, Arizona, where the average February temperature is a pleasant high of 71° and a low of 40°. Tucson, the second-largest city in Arizona, offers some of the finest Mexican cuisine in the world and a variety of attractions to explore. The Western Business Education Association (WBEA) is a vital component of the broader National Business Education Association (NBEA) network. Our primary objective is to foster connections among business educators within our association while offering valuable resources that can benefit all educators. We are committed to equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in the workforce, emphasizing the use of technology to navigate the ever-evolving global landscape. As outlined in our mission, we strive to "prepare individuals to excel as consumers, workers, and citizens in our economic systems, while fostering an understanding of the opportunities and challenges they will encounter in our competitive global economy." As we move forward throughout the year, we remain committed to advancing the vision of our organization. Key aspects of our vision include integrating business and technology to develop stronger leaders, innovators, and collaborators. We aim to build robust networks of educators and supporters who can share valuable resources and best practices with one another. Our goal is to foster a culture of lifelong learning, continuously refining our teaching methods to effectively guide and inspire our students to reach their full potential.
